Reserve running back Tony Jackson has been dismissed from the Duke football team by coach David Cutcliffe, the school announced Wednesday.
In a news release, Duke announced that Jackson had failed to uphold the standard of conduct expected of a football player at the school.
As a sophomore last season, Jackson played in 11 games, starting three. He rushed 76 times for 259 yards and caught 12 passes for 106 yards and one touchdown.
