Former Tar Heel Marvin Austin vents on Twitter
Former North Carolina defensive lineman Marvin Austin's comments on Twitter first drew the attention of NCAA investigators last year as he tweeted about a party in Miami and other good times.
Wednesday, in the aftermath of a Durham Superior Court ruling that denied his former Tar Heels teammate Michael McAdoo an injunction that would have allowed McAdoo to resume playing with the Tar Heels this fall, Austin (above) unleashed a series of tweets on his @anchormanaustin account expressing his frustration and apparently threatening to reveal more about North Carolina's football program and the ongoing NCAA investigation.
Shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday, the following message was posted on the @anchormanaustin account: "I'm so heated right now...justice will provail..even if I have to spill the beans"
That tweet was followed by nine more posted over the course of Thursday evening (spelling is Austin's):

Nice.
I demand to see this clown's attendance record for Remedial English.
What a great education these guys are receiving at UNC-CHEAT.
Very impressive, that ivory tower of learning in Orange County.

If any of you anons posting your grammatical observations are NC State fans, take a gander at young Julius Hodge's Twitter account and comment on the quality of the education he receives.
Amateurism in college is a farce, and the idea that big sport athletes at major schools get what amounts to a "normal" college education is, as EVERYONE knows, simply a fantasy.
And there is nothing wrong with this.
I wonder what stories Big Marvin could tell us. unc-chEAT fans must cringe every time a new post from him pops up.
UNC Chancellor Holden Thorp: "You’re right. Nobody checked it, and I wish we had because we wouldn’t have said so strongly in the appeal hearing that the paper was his work."
Folks, NO ONE is in charge over at UNC. What an absolute DISGRACE.
9:35-You've got things a little wrong. Butch Davis runs the whole school.
this is Twitter, folks, not the New Yorker...you can teach a parrot to speak but you can't teach one to think - welcome to the Big High School
After what happened to Georgia Tech for a little $300 slipup, prepare for the HAMMER of justice, UNC.
As a UNC alum, yes - we cringe every time this clown opens him Twitter mouth. He has the power to affect a LOT of people (yes - mostly innocent, but affected nonetheless) with his rants.
But all of you "holier than thou" commenters should watch what goes around... You have NO idea the kind of stuff that goes on around EVERY major college sports program, including whatever "ivory towers" you support, which could be next.
I can assure you this is just the start, And by the time the next twenty schools get dragged through the 'media' and the NCAA's corrupt, nonsensical and maddening grips, the UNC 'case' will be long forgotten...
7/18 at 1:37 - UNC has no ACC championships to give back. I guess the NCAA "hammer" will have to settle for the Murray State win from '09...
It doesn't bother me what Marvin tweets about. The sad reality is that the "amature" mold of big time Saturday football is broken. If the NCAA sets up camp at any football program and digs in they will find significant violations. This is in direct relation to the fact that most NCAA rules are stupid. I, for one, support the seperation and formation of six super conferneces to compete outside of the hypocracy that is the NCAA. Go Heels!
I love modern technology. The North Carolins news papers can wait 4 score and 10 years to start reporting ill news on UNC, they can fail to report ill news on UNC, they can try to divert atttention to other less meaningful subjects, they can put spin on it.
But at the end of the day the web, twitter, out of state news papers, magazines, radio, and Sports TV will tell the story. North Carolina news papers and media outlets can no long do a cover up on UNC's behalf!
They like UNC have become the coackroaches being exposed by light in the middle of the night.
