Typical Tar Baby fan; they were filling up Wallace Wade at record rates this past season, with more 30,000+ attendance games than the stadium's ever seen. There were a lot of empty seats in the Dean Dome during the Doherty years and especially last year when UNC struggled to win.

And the reason there are more UNC fans than Duke fans at those games is because UNC is significantly larger. More students = more alumni = more people at games in general.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6039124955271190898.post-88233446685884276422011-02-17T19:24:24.589-05:002011-02-17T19:24:24.589-05:00Dook football is and always will be a joke! At least Carolina fans support ALL their teams, not just the successful ones! Every year we play at Dook, there are more UNC fans than Dookies. And, really, which is better: a slow development where Duke's won half as many games in the last two years as they won in the previous nine, or an investigation involving a third of your team's academic cheating that leads to a whopping seven or eight wins a year.Michael Proctonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14394438813705391132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6039124955271190898.post-41958097945761271442011-02-17T14:14:13.148-05:002011-02-17T14:14:13.148-05:00Smarts off the field, doesn't translate to win...Smarts off the field, doesn't translate to wins on the field. I'm sorry but nerds just can't compete when it comes to Athletics. So the fact that Duke had 13 chosen means nothing. Now the graduation rates of players from these schools is far more important than just a 3.0 average of just a select few.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6039124955271190898.post-32984340048652251922011-02-17T13:49:42.673-05:002011-02-17T13:49:42.673-05:00UNC-CHeats.UNC-CHeats.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6039124955271190898.post-42912772942789557292011-02-17T13:39:20.780-05:002011-02-17T13:39:20.780-05:00I guess that makes UVA a joke too?I guess that makes UVA a joke too?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6039124955271190898.post-12018149892810325222011-02-17T13:22:45.980-05:002011-02-17T13:22:45.980-05:00NC State is a joke.
